How to Treat Acne Bruises1

Our skin has different ways of reacting to wounds and bruises. Just like any other wound, acne bruises will get lighter in time.

The only important thing to keep in mind is that there are certain things that you should have to regularly take to help your skin heal from acne bruises. Furthermore, natural remedies are an effective and safe way of treating acne bruises but take a huge amount of patience. You should not expect a huge effect after just a short period of time.

Don’t overexpose yourself to the sun

Since your body’s skin has the capacity to heal itself and make your acne bruises lighter, you must make all the efforts to help it. One way of doing so is by keeping out of the sun as much as possible. Overexposure or long exposure to the sun will greatly slow down your skin’s healing process and may even make your bruises darker.

Use sunscreen

If you can’t avoid going out and becoming exposed to the sun’s rays, you should take every step to protect yourself from it. This means that you should use a sunscreen that is fit for your skin type and has the maximum SPF level. Using sunscreen will ensure that your skin is well-protected from the harmful rays of the sun and will protect your acne bruises from further damage.
